Deco - Yandina

An absolute hidden delight in Yandina. Gorgeous Euro style food, excellent wait service and the atmosphere and decor were sophisticated yet welcoming and unpretentious. Sundays are quieter so we had a leisurely meal with attentive but not intrusive service. Highly recommend the duck liver patè. Drinks were well priced for beers and wines. Photo is dessert cherry ripe cheesecake.

Fabulous place down in Yandina. I saw previous reviews before committing to the place, and you can always tell when the chefs take pride in their food. I wasn’t disappointed with the freshly-made prawn tortellini and special thai-fusion crab cakes. The waffle was a bit chewy and average though. Also, a bit let down by the beer on tap, as this Belgian beer Haus had no Belgium beer on tap! Still a good selection on the bottled imports though. The staff and atmosphere complemented the food, making this place excellent in all respects.

My partner and I were recommended to visit Bar Deco for our anniversary. The service was immaculate being greeted at the door, Liam was professional and polite, attending to all request to the highest standards. The food was beyond amazing, would have to say it was the best 3 course meal I’ve ever eaten. Great work team! Would highly recommend a romantic and elegant evening at Bar Deco in Yandina and will be returning customers. It’s hard to find genuine customer service and we appreciated feeling overly satisfied for our special occasion.

This restaurant is a hidden gem on the Sunshine Coast in the small town on Yandina and one we will be heading back to very soon and sharing the experience with friends and family. The food is exceptional, with options for the meat eater to the plant based food lover. The service is something we haven’t seen for a long time, extremely welcoming, from all staff and owner Henry with a special mention to Lily. Atmosphere is relaxing with an Art Deco flare….stunning! You have the option to sit at the bar where we started for a couple of drinks and entree, then moved to our table for our main meal and dessert. We didn’t feel like we were being rushed out the door, giving us the time to enjoy the full experience. There is also an outside area which we are excited to try next time. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

A hidden gem with repeatedly top notch food and positive experience in a upmarket setting. The white wine muscles in particular are fantastic, as in the ice tea cocktail.
