Really enjoyed trying delicious Burmese noodle dishes. Waiters had good English and knew which vegan was. Sticky noodles with tomato sauce were unreal. Relatively small dish but each comes with soup, pickles and free tea for 2000kyat £1!!!! Updated from previous review on 2019 11 03
This restaurant is well-known for its Shan noodle dishes. However, there are only two vegetarian/vegan options on the menu: fried tofu and a sticky noodle soup. The broth served with the soup also appears to be vegan. The prices are affordable at 1,900 kyats, but the portions are not very large. While the food is good, it is not outstanding. The staff is efficient and friendly, but they seem to be in a hurry which can make the dining experience somewhat stressful. Overall, I do not believe this restaurant is worth a visit unless you are extremely curious about Shan noodles.
I had a noodle salad and it was so tasty (and only 1900 kyat for a pretty filling portion)! It came with a couple of other bits and and bobs (small bowl of vegetarian soup and a spoonful of pickled vegetables), which is always a nice touch. They also offer tea free of charge. Staff are friendly and attentive. My favourite place to eat in Yangon so far.
You can order a main dish for 1900 kyats at this restaurant. I chose to try the noodle "salad" with sticky noodles and vegetables because I was unsure about the broth in other dishes, and it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. They also offer free tea. I will definitely be back!
