Murgatroyds - Yeadon

On Saturday night again after murgatroyds. this is by far the best place to have fish n chips in yorkshire. the food is also excellently cooked for perfection. I chose the murgatroyds 2 course special, haddock was as it should be. crispy teig, fleshy fish and no greasy chips with mouth water mushy heap. the price of £16.50 included brot n butter, tee or coffee. the waiter was efficient, polite and informative. truly no place to miss for fish n chip lovers.

I've always had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The fish and chips are fantastic. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to offer a standard portion of cod and chips on the menu. I love the dish, but I often struggle to finish the large portion currently available.

I had a wonderful experience with a beautifully flaky white fish, encased in a perfectly crispy batter, accompanied by deliciously crunchy chips. Unlike many places that serve lesser cuts, this dish was top-notch. You really can't beat Yorkshire fish and chips!

Had a nice meal on Saturday afternoon. I was there early at 11.30 a.m., took my mother almost 92, my wife and I. had the billy murgh special, squid, chips muddy heaps and tae brot and butter. it was nicely cooked to perfection, fluffy white haddock, first guess.

Honestly, this is the best fish and chips I've ever had—I haven't found anything better anywhere!
