La Pampa Mobile Grill - YELLOW SPRINGS

Mariano is simply the best! His food is incredible—always full of flavor and wonderfully juicy! La Pampa has never let us down, and my husband and I always keep an eye out for when he’ll be in the area. It’s definitely one of our top favorites! Mario is full of energy and exceptionally friendly. His food is a delightful blend of sweetness, spice, and everything wonderful! If you're unsure, just give it a try!

Wow! The food here is incredible and it's clear that the chef has a true passion for cooking. He was very friendly, and we even chatted about the type of wood he uses for the grill. We tried three empanadas (chicken, pork, and beef) and the beef with rice. I usually avoid flank steak because it can be tough, but this was so tender that I could cut it with a plastic knife. It was packed with flavor, and the seasoning and marinade were exceptional. I’d give it a 10/10! Oh, and I should mention that all of his containers and silverware are compostable. It takes a lot of dedication to be that eco-conscious as a small business owner, so kudos to him!

Tried the empanadas and flank steak while we were yellow springs brewery, AMAZING. We were so sad he wasn’t going to be back the next night, we were talking about the food all weekend! We had the beef and the curry empanadas both were ?? and that flank steak flavor, I’m drooling just thinking about it! Well done sir!

I have been dreaming about these empanadas ever since I had the pleasure of trying them last Sunday at Southern Ohio Brewing! I’ve tried empanadas all over this country and these are the best I’ve had since visiting Colombia, but honestly it rivals the best I had there as well. I can’t wait to come back soon!
