Tomo Japanese Cuisine - Yonkers

This was my second time ordering from here, and the sushi is fantastic! We received a fish-shaped flower this time, which was adorable. The rock shrimp tempura was also excellent. The spring rolls were just average, but overall it was still a wonderful sushi experience! The white fish was incredibly buttery and absolutely delicious!

The food was good, though I've experienced better at this restaurant before. The rolls were fresh and nicely assembled, with the Yonkers roll being the standout. I also tried the gorilla roll and Kani salad. While the sweet potato could have had a bit more crunch, the shrimp and mango were so fresh and flavorful that they didn't need any sauce. Overall, the Kani salad was quite delicious.

Finally, I found a place with great flavor! Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were incredibly reasonable, and the portions of shrimp and beef teriyaki we received were generous. After trying various places, this restaurant truly brought a big smile to my face. The only downside was the tempura—it could have used about an extra minute in the fryer. However, the shrimp hibachi, loaded with an abundance of beautiful shrimp, was fantastic. Thank you, and we look forward to returning soon!
