The Tavern English Pub - Yono

The food was very disappointing and the beer was way to expensive. For the same price you can have 3 or 4 beers at a different place and still have some Yen left. Also the fact that you have to order a drink (a water is already ¥ 600), makes this place really unsympathetic. I would rather eat two times 牛丼 for that price. Please do not go here.

Only place where I found that does a decent ish carvery for when they long for home. good choice. a bit grimey, but just like a pub would be at home:d

Nice place, bar tenders understand English. Great vibe, casual. It's not a place you go to dance it's more like a place for conversations. There was a mix of both locals and foreigners. Drinks range from ¥850 to ¥1100 (subject to change). Drinks include cocktails, shots draft beers. There is a menu in Japanese and English which was helpful. Fairly easy to locate as there is a British flag hoisted outside. You have to climb some stairs to get up to the bar no elevator.

Prices are extortionate and there 's an additional one drink minimum spend, the cheapest is ¥600 (and that 's just for a non-alcoholic drink). Food portions are small and taste pretty average, nothing like you 'd get in a real British pub. Plus we overheard that they hike up the prices during happy hour just to make the ¥100 discount seem like a bargain. Would not recommend.

I came in for a mistake, but I had one of the best margarita I ever had in tokio. Of course, the margarita was not just one. I will come back in a definitive way and end the British atmosphere. British owners (natural English speakers, but also good Japanese skills). maybe not the cheapest, but definitiw the money they spend in!
