Everest Gurkha Nepalese - York

The food at this restaurant is delicious and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend trying the chef’s challenge chicken dish. Pair it with a bottle of Chardonnay for a completely different dining experience. This restaurant is a must-visit in York, especially since it is conveniently located opposite the Shambles.

4th time we’ve been to Everest Gurkha. Every single time the food has been amazing. We always get veggie Momo and it’s always delicious. The new menu is great, especially with the veggie options. Great small restaurant, shocked it's not more full. The staff are lovely and the food is incredible. First time we've been since the menu was revamped and the food is really flavourful. The mo-mo are incredible as is the chicken thukpa. Will definitely be going back soon.

A lovely authentic nepalese restaurant, with welcoming and attentative staff. Me and my partner came here yesterday and having never tried nepalese food before, we were so impressed with everything we ordered. The service was spot on too. Our waitress was always prompt, and happily explained through items on the menu we were unsure of. All food and drinks came quickly, and the restaurant itself was clean and had an interesting nepalese style. Can't wait to come again.
