Absolutely beautiful food. The bring your own booze policy helps bring the cost of an overall meal and greatly increased the variety of drinks you can have. The food is incredible. 100% recommended.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and delivered promptly. There were a couple of disappointments, however. I requested my vindaloo to be made extra hot to a Phaal level, but it wasn't, so I had to add my own habanero sauce at home. Additionally, there was a lack of meat in the Kemma naans. Other than that, it was fine.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the main portions were of average size. The service was excellent and the pickle tray and poppadoms were very enjoyable. The only minor criticism I have is that the starter (mixed tikka) was on the smaller side, but it was still very tasty. I would definitely go back again and recommend a visit. It's worth noting that they are not licensed, so remember to bring your own alcohol.

Bring your own beer. Great shop for beer just opposite! Excellent food. Low prices. York's most underrated Indian restaurant.
