Planeta Mexico - York

This review is for the small ice cream stand that is located next to their restaurant. The rating is 3.5 out of 5.

While it may not be the top Mexican restaurant in Toronto (refer to my review of Mariachis), the food is still pretty good. Plus, in Markham, we have plenty of options, just not as many Mexican restaurants.

We were seated at a table inside the restaurant with a perfect view of the performer's area.

The food here is great. Pretty authentic as far as Mexican goes in the GTA. The actual building is a little run down, but its a good place to eat with a few friends. Very small inside, and the patio is small as well. The seats and tables on the patio aren't the most comfortable, but the food makes up for the actual restaurant. Try the Mexican corn! Their "10 tacos for $20" deal is great too.

Got carried away with the live Mexican music. Food was not the great but a good environment with the live music. Good for dates or just to relax and have some bites.
