Thai Erawan - Yorktown

Pretty good. Not the best Thai in town, but overall good. Her dressing noodles are one of her best dishes. No other Thai restaurant even makes this dish. The unique aromas combined with Thai spices distinguishes it from other noodle dishes. The main complaint I have about the restaurant is that prices are slightly higher and the amount of food in some (not all) dishes is usually less.

Great Thai Food. I have always enjoyed getting take out from Thai Erawan! Their dishes are seasoned just right and the spiciness is made-to-order! Try the egg rolls and you'll love them too.

Good Thai in York County. Thai Erawan is located on the end of a strip mall off 134. There is not much parking on the end, so you most likely will have to park in front of Food Lion or around back in a dirt lot. I went around 12:30PM with a group of about 15 people so they seated us in the party room . The service was pretty good and the food didn 't take long for the group. I tried their Kaprow (Basil with Hot Chili Pepper) it was listed as coming with bell peppers, green beans, onions, and basil leaves, with the meat of your choice and white rice. Not sure what was up but there were not any green beans in my dish? I asked for Thai Hot or their (3 stars) but wasn 't really impressed as it was rather mild, but nothing the chili tray couldn 't fix. Their fried spring rolls were pretty good, but fresh out of the fryer they were like eating the sun to the un-expecting patron. Overall the food tasted well and the service was good and the prices were fair. The only downside was the slowness we experienced trying to check out since they didn 't bring any bills to the table.
