Foxwell Park Restaurant - Yungaburra

We had a lovely valentine's day brunch. Food and views were lovely, service was good. The venue needs a bit of a brush up or renovation as is pretty tired.

A little off the track but well worth taking the time to visit.The food was just delightful, service attentive and friendly, the atmosphere pleasant.Fowwell Park also offers quality accomodation though we didn't stay there Will definitely go back one day and can definitely recommend

Beautiful view and long driveway leading to the restaurant. Food was pretty good and nicely presented. Tables were placed outside in courtyard which was lovely, but everyone was outside because it was too stuffy inside; needed air-conditioning. To improve the menu, select a few dishes and do them well because diners always know how certain meals should taste.

9 of us at the table, the waitress informed us that she only had 2 menus so please share, the wine was ordered and it was placed in an ice bucket at the end of the table but not served.I had crispy salmon, the crispy was rubbery, the fish placed on mashed potato surrounded by an assortment of vegetables and salad, no sauce, no salt and pepper, a very bland meal. A bit of butter would have made a difference. The salt shaker on the table had to be taken apart to get salt out. The salad was placed on the same plate as the warm items, it had no dressing, this for Au $31.50 was disappointing.

My husband and I went to Foxwell Park for our anniversary. There was hardly anyone there so the service was excellent. The food is OK. I am a dessert connoisseur and this did not come up to scratch. The ambience of the place is fantastic. Surrounded by a golf course with just a B&B around.
