Írjon visszajelzéstI've traveled to Yungay a number of times in the last few years and found this to be Yungay's best restaurant. As a "tourist" restaurant they are accustomed to foreign travelers and have a number of dishes on the menu that cater to people not accustomed to local cuisine, that being said this is also the best place in Yungay to order cuy, which in English is guinea pig. Be ready though, they you get a whole fried guinea pig. Definitely looks like a fried rodent on your plate.
We have already eaten in this place before, my wife is from this area and her family and us have gone there to eat.Try the trout, since there are a lot of fish farms in the area you can get really good and fresh trout. We tried the fried trout, the breaded trout and the chicharrones both of pork and trout. If you are a tourist the place is inexpensive, if you are a local or don't have too much money, try the Menu of the day. You get soup, the main dish and a drink for about $3Allow for some time to meander through the grounds, lots of plants to see (check the cacao beans), birds and some Alpacas. Beware of the Alpacas when they are chewing grass, they may tend to spit it at you if you bother them.
