Lanterna Na Dolcu - Zagreb

One of the top 3 experiences we had in zagreb! the waiter gave us great recommendations for eating and which wein would connect well with our food. it was a very hot evening, so we decided to sit inside and the atmosphere was nice inside sitting area! I would come back to zagreb. thanks for the great service!

Had a wonderful lunch here, young were super nice, super helpful and eating was really good. if they go in doubt for truffle pljukanci and do not miss them štrukla by any chance. there is a full of local weeping and a decent selection of local craft beer.

This is a cozy and friendly family owned restaurant with the nicest people we met on our 10 day trip to Croatia. The owner is super friendly and he helps with suggestions on the menu. He also told us some facts and history about the restaurant and kindly showed us the basement which we asked to see (we read in a guide that the restaurant had one) and we were not disappointed, it was beautiful! The food was also very good. We enjoyed it so much that we came back at night just to say goodbye and we were still greeted very happily even though it was near their closing time. This family works with passion and they make sure you have a good time! I wish them the best and I hope to visit them again if we ever go back to Zagreb in the future and will definetely recommend it to any friends that go to Zagreb on vacations.

Personalized Perfection! ... they make you family We were in Zagreb for a 3 day stay in September of 2018. We had dinner at a trendy modern place, an expensive international locale, and the Lantern ... This was by far our best experience and food! The owner welcomed us for a late lunch or early dinner. He was extremely gracious. He gave us insight into the history of the restaurant and the city. In between courses and complimentary drinks, we carried on conversations about Croatian sports and entertainment. I think we got invited to go watch football at his local bar. We also talked family; my Croatian ancestors and his daughter and her cousin sent home after school. The FOOD was excellent. Everything was light and decadent and perfectly timed. We savored the grilled vegetables and disrespected the mushroom gnocchi. Fabulous! Go enjoy the great food, great atmosphere, and great people ASAP! Oh yeah ... the signature stone ceiling was beautiful. Check that out too.
