Grand Café Het Witte Huis - Zeegse

We had our farewell party tonight for friends and family due to emigration to a sunny country abroad. We should not have done that here, we have lived in Zeegse for a number of years now and many people said you should eat there... As soon as requested, made a reservation and sat down. When we entered there was a “male choir” that makes more noise than a football canteen. And believe me they can't sing because it's not a male choir but just a lot of noise pollution. We order some bottles of wine in advance upon arrival, which is fine. After an hour we get a bread platter, hungry. Yes, not much later comes the main course, buuuut!!! The menu of the day (salmon) is not included for 1 person the waitress asks “do you have 5 minutes left?” Meanwhile, the table is full of food and out of respect everyone waits until the last plate has been served to eat. The last plate finally arrives, 5 minutes has indeed worked! But the fish of the “day” was fried so quickly (salmon) that it was grilled 30% black. Meanwhile, the table with all the noise is of course the most important table of the day and room because there were a lot of people there. Sorry, but next time, which won't happen for us, I'll skip it!
