Glogge Egge - Zuerich

The restaurant changes its identity now and then, this time becoming a pop-up for Moules et Frites. We reserved for lunch. It's a reasonable size with sophisticated decor, right in the heart of Zürich. The food was excellent, the Swiss wine one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've tried and the service attentive. The only annoyance was why, in an almost empty restaurant, staff place groups right next to one another. The space between tables is so narrow to be uncomfortably close. Other than that, we enjoyed a lovely meal.

As it’s raining outside and we got the 20% off voucher from the hotel, that’s why we came here for the free drink and having dinner in this restaurant. We tried the fish and the steak dishes, however, other than the potato come with the steak, other food are too salty. If only for food, I would not recommend, find another one. The staff are friendly and nice if you come for a drink only.

Nice room, super friendly service, fair prices (the hotel even throws in a discount voucher for hotel guests), but the food was average at best.

Had a fantastic here recently with friends. The service was incredibley kind and accommodating. The food was spectacular. Perfect place to have a calm evening accompanied by delicious food
