Old Pub - Zvolen

Very atmospheric old pension. Many tables inside and five outside. Delicious dishes and regional specialities. Friendly service and small souvenir shop inside. Appropriate prices.

All made of wood also many old times artifacts. Great food. Located in the middle of dense forest and mountains

Beautiful place. Really nicely done. Food nice but could have a bit more choice.

Magical atmosphere, nice traditional cousines, very kind reception

This is the most traditional Slovak accommodation as it can get. This entire place has traditional looking furniture, murals on the walls and there is even a little souvenir store with local products. Breakfast was nice and still rich even though we eat only vegetarian. Our only issue was that rooms above the restaurant were incredibly hot even though it was only 20 degrees outside can’t imagine how it feels during hot summer days) and the kitchen smell is all the time in your room despite constantly opened windows. Overall a good stay! I recommend booking a room in the second part of the house away from the kitchen).
