Hudson Harbor Steak Seafood - Albany

My daughter contacted me and said they had a Burlesque show. Let's go. Long story short we had a party of 8. I've eaten in any kind of food known to man. From dives to Tavern On The Green. I must say the meal was FANTASTIC!!! The waiting time for the meal was a little long, but the waiting was worth it. Everything was perfected. The staff was very attentive. One last comment, the bill, all I can say is that I paid more for dinner for me and my wife than the sum for the eight of us. (the drinks included) If you find yourself in Albany and you really enjoy steak and seafood You're not disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic food! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. I've been dining here with my daughter for six years, and I've never had a bad meal! There was one time when my scallops weren't cooked all the way, but they quickly took care of it and prepared a brand new dish for me. The food is truly incredible, but be prepared to wait a bit because everything is made fresh to order. This isn't like a quick meal at a chain restaurant where your food arrives in 10 minutes. The reef and beef are exceptional!

I discovered this restaurant by chance while heading to work a year ago. We arrived a few minutes before opening, but they kindly allowed us to come in and seated us early. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the steak was one of the best meals I've ever had.

The restaurant is a short walk from our hotel. It had good ratings, and the only eatery within walking distance. Food was good, not great. Service by waiter was good, it took a long time to receive our meal. The hostess forgot to return our credit card to pay the check and we waited a while before we asked them to process our payment. The restaurant is tired, old, not really kept up in the dining area. Menu was quite limited and quite pricey for the venue.
