Shorty's Bbq - Alma

Great food! The dining area is small, but the food is excellent and the prices are on the finish. I recommend the fully loaded pommes.

Im from south florida and just recently moved to Alma, and this place is top notch, the building is a little rustic type place, pretty small inside, with a smoking porch and a front door, you go inside and order and you can sit in a table, surrounded by georgia bulldog pictures, or you can get take out. I fully recommend eating inside, though, as there are not many people and you can get as many free refills and extra sauces as you want. Better for the price. The price is great, the fried pickles and fried okra are amazing, and so is the pulled pork sandwich, the burger, and probably the most popular order that I've seen, the chicken platter. You can also get 2 sides of fries as your 2 sides if you only want fries, I wholy recommend this place. Very good food, great atmosphere, very clean, and you feel right at home in a small town. 5 stars.

Shorty’s is consistently excellent. I believe they would be even better if they were included on the menu.

Everything I tried at this restaurant was incredible, and I ended up purchasing a whole barbeque butt. I highly recommend it!

The BBQ here is quite good, and the portions are generous. The sauce is tomato-based, which is nice, but I personally prefer vinegar-based sauces, so I’m giving it 4 stars.
