Írjon visszajelzéstReally neat, old school place. Cash only, no dine-in they close at 7. Good courteous staff, nice menu selection really good chicken. If you're out cruising (would be great stop before or after taking a drive up the River Road) or in Alton, this good chicken joint won't disappoint. I definitely added to my Return List.
Cheap, good quality fried chicken, crispy on the outside, juicy in the inside. It was not too oily for me just right. We arrive at off peak hour, 11 AM so service was fast. Line fills up fast, after ordering there were already about 5 after me.
Great discovery. Only cash, no seating, chicken was hot and juicy with delicious skin. I wish I had more napkins and the pommes were not very good, but it was worth the 20-minute drive. We'll be back.
Had their chicken livers and cole slaw, plus deep-fried cauliflower. Delicious and reasonable prices. Easy to order and one customer at a time at the pickup window. Will definitely be back as nobody else in the area has chicken livers anymore. The only thing I didn't care for was their french fries.
It's like a blast from the past. The building is old and outdated, which oddly enough, made me want to stop in even more—and I'm so glad I did. The ordering process is straightforward and nostalgic. The staff was busy, but the service was quick, and they took the time to assist me with my order in a friendly manner. The food was freshly made and tasted great. If you're in the area or haven't been here before, I highly recommend stopping by. You'll be glad you did.
