Post Commons - Alton

I absolutely adore this place! I've always appreciated their excellent tea and delicious food. The ambiance is consistently relaxing and welcoming. So, when I discovered they host events while planning my baby shower, I was thrilled! The Haley room is stunning! Our event coordinator, Ashley, was amazing—so easy to collaborate with, communicative, and incredibly accommodating. I can't thank her enough. All in all, this venue is a true gem in Alton.

Post Commons is located in a former post office building, offering plenty of space. Even when it's busy, the atmosphere remains pleasantly lively without being overwhelming, which I find ideal for a café. The service was excellent; the staff was very patient while I decided on my order. Both the drinks and food were delicious!

8-21-24 Very nice atmosphere! Just to think of all the history in this building! Food was great! Nice friendly service! Coffee was a huge miss! Too bitter for our taste. Overall a good experience.

We were traveling and thought we would stop. What a great place for coffee and a bite to eat. Love the fact that it's in the old post office
