Applecross Chinese Restaurant

My experience here was remarkably good. Not only did the staff go above & beyond to meet my dietary requirements, but the chef even sat down with me to discuss the meal head prepared. I LOVE this place. Happy Chinese New Year!

I really don't like giving negative reviews but don't want anyone else suffering the same fate. I'm sorry but the restaurant looked dirty. Windows dirty , floor covered in food. The plastic tablecloth on our table had been wiped down with a dirty cloth and was sticky and smeary and covered with someone else's food . The dim sum itself was cold and overcooked. Rolled Rice noodles sloppy with no flavour , squid tough and chewy , custard tarts tasted sour and the Shanghai dumplings tasted off. Sorry the only thing we could say that was ok was the price. Sorely disappointed as we don't get to Perth often and a friend recommended this restaurant . We won't return .

The restaurant is not that high end but the prices are very high. Comparing to what you get on the food and service. The foods were not different from what you get at the cheap chinese take away shop.

We arrived on a Friday night at 6:30. The floors were absolutely filthy as if they hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner all week. The sauce bottles on the table were filthy and left your hands greasy and dirty just handling then. I had a badly chipped side plate to I asked for it to be changed. I was handed a less chipped plate instead. It took an hour to get our meal even though we were only one of 4 tables in use.The food that came out was not what was on the menu. The menu was described as boiled pork and beef combination. What came out was beef and pork offal. It was disgusting.We left and the owner didn't charge us. Never again.

Seriously the dirtiest and most unpleasant restaurant experience I have ever had in WA.Carpets are sticky and filthy, table tops grimy. Made the mistake of using the bathroom and then couldn't face the food after. Fish tanks are dirty and I feel sorry for the poor fish swimming in the grimy water. Seriously save your money and don't risk this place
