Jack's Steakhouse N Saloon - Bismarck

I ate at Jacks yesterday and you're right, they used to be kind and now they think they're too good for others. The service was OK. The food, you never know what you'll get. Once you get bread and now you ask if you want it. Well, if it's part of the meal, then just take it, I'll pay for it. Meat has changed, it's terrible. I won't be back. Texas Roadhouse, we're coming!

I'm sad that these aren't the Jacks I used to know and love. I guess things have to change over time. Sad, Jack's not what it used to be! I hope they can change something because I'd like to go back. Not soon.

This restaurant used to be a great spot for a meal, but it has really declined. They now charge prices that you’d expect to see in a big city, even though the location is in a working-class area. The food is just average, yet they still manage to nickel-and-dime their customers. I’m also let down by Jack and his wife; they used to be friendly and acknowledge diners, but now they seem too busy to say hello. I won’t be returning.

Without a doubt, this is the best place to get a steak in the area. I’ve been there many times and have never had a bad meal. The staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic, whether you're dining in the restaurant or at the bar (which is my personal preference).

We dine at Jack's frequently and have never had a bad meal. The service is great, and they provide plenty of complimentary snacks like bread, peanuts, and popcorn. We really enjoy it there—keep up the excellent work!
