Mod Pizza - Boise

I will address other comments on the assessments. eating was good, but the personal customer service here is terrible. they complained loudly about online orders received, and the personal member who did the sauces at the end, rolled their eyes visibly, saw loudly when we corrected what pizza we wanted the sauce. I don't want to go back. I have worked in the food service industry to understand how it can be stressful and difficult, low payment, etc. but at least they try to show some human condition and ease. I don't know if I'm going back.

Nice place for optimizating pizza according to taste. Next give a try adding roasted corn and chick pea it adds very nice flavor!!

An employee said they were out of sliced tomatoes, another customer after my group was attended by a different employee, and they found sliced tomatoes easily, we still did not get the tomatoes

Well, pizza is pizza; it’s hard to mess up. Ergo, the pizza is pretty good, if not the best presentation. The problem is with the staff. A group of over privileged grumps. They all act like they don’t want to be there (probably don’t) and don’t seem to understand the concept of ‘customer service’. They make pizzas in an almost angry fashion, throwing ingredients on like the dough offended them. By presentation I mean the ingredients are just plopped into the middle in a pile with no spread. It’s like they’re all trained this way, as if it’ll fix itself in the oven. This creates a soggy center and an overcooked border. When adding multiple ingredients they don’t understand putting less of each the more you add, instead they just throw handfuls of every one, completely over stacking the pizza, which also affects cooking properly. Mostly though, it’s their attitudes. Rude and seemingly exhausted by life in general, literally sighing out loud when you ask for simple things like a half and half pizza or request for a ‘light’ amount of an item or ‘extra’ of another. Heaven forbid you can’t just throw a big handful in the middle real quick! One star for service at the downtown location but I do like the one price for any toppings option. Three stars total only because pizza is basically pizza and it’s good. It’s hard to mess it up, but sometimes they sure seem to try!

One of the people behind the counter was quite nice, but the guy who took our order was almost comically rude. I was with a friend, and he had a hostile attitude with both of us, especially my friend, and was scowling at her and telling her to speak up over and over. He then proceeded to ridicule her for her choice of toppings on her pizza. Unbelievably bad experience. The food was decent, but I will not be coming back after being treated like that.
