When they are looking for home cooking, charming decoration, and a wonderful personal they have come to the right place. the chef 's hat on google on the look for a good breakfast burrito and found this jewel! we, my wife and I, ordered a cinnamon roll to begin as it was at the top of the menu. the woman ordered the pork chops and eggs while I ordered the buster. we start with the cinnamon roll as it comes first when ordered. it was hot pierced and came with a portion butter on the head that began to melt immediately. the zimtrolle was the perfect balance, not about sweet, that was cinnamon, but not exaggerated. the glaze up made it perfect with the melted butter! no nuts or rusty thanks! at the main event: the well-buster . it was perfect and lived up to its name. the burrito could hardly close and was at least as large as the plate about 12 covered with cheese. it usually comes with landgravure, but as I did not for gravitation on my burrito I gave it to my wife. the meat was fantastic and was well flavored, with ham, speck and sausage. the eggs tasted as if they were made dirty, as my grandfather would say, and brought me back into the kindness. a little acid cream added to the mix and it was fantastic. I didn't finish. photos also attached the pork chops and eggs were delicious. the pig was moist, slightly baked and fried. the hash browns were perfected together with the English muffin. the heavy I had passed on to my wife was fantastic. not excessively spicy but very tasteful. the personal was fantastic and looked after us well. I can't praise the place enough. the prices were also very reasonable. my wife and I are back!
Huge amount of character packed into a small place. Great food quantity and quality. Excellent prices. Friendly staff. 20 minute wait to be seated and 40 minutes after that before food was served. Excellent place for breakfast if you are not in a rush.
Fun little hidden away cafe. Great for groups of six or fewer, but larger groups (like ours was) may find it difficult to sit together as the cafe is small. Food and service was good. A few of our groups orders got goofed up a bit, but the service was good otherwise.
The Chef?s Hut ?????????? Located in the Franklin Business Park 164 S. Cole Rd. , The Chef?s Hut is one of Boise?s best kept secrets. It is an old fashion diner that has been around since 1974. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 AM to 2 PM, they are best known for their breakfasts. The Chef?s Hut is also known for their Cinnamon Rolls. These photos are from a weekday visit around 1:15 PM. They had just taken their second batch of cinnamon rolls out of the oven. You can order trays of them for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I?m a big fan of their lunches. My go to is usually the Patty Melt with fries $9.99 . If I?m eating there, I get it with fresh cut fries, but when I ordered to go, I was encouraged to get their regular fries or beer battered onion ring. I went with onion rings and a side of Fry sauce. Both were excellent! Usually the patty melt comes on a darker rye bread, which I prefer, and is grilled a bit longer. I got a? Cinnamon Roll $2.99 to go too, which I had for breakfast the next morning. It was excellent! I only wish it had raisins in it. ??These photos are from a visit on 8/18/21. One of the things that I love about this place is that it makes you feel like you?ve stepped back into time. There?s nothing fancy about it, but it feels like someplace you always known. It?s a kind of place where the cook will make Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes for your children. It?s the only local place I know that has Spam on the menu. They make many items from scratch. They have hand battered fish and chips on Fridays. The owner is a big animal lover, who has Corgis. During warm weather, there is a dog friendly patio outside where you can dine with your four-legged family members. Other menu items I have tried and enjoyed are: The Hut Skillet Chili Burger BLT Reuben Finger Steak Basket Fish Chips One of the items I haven?t tried but that I?ve heard a lot of great things about is their Pesto Turkey Melt. Highly Recommended!!!
