Strandhotel Balka Sobad - Bornholm

Perfect located for trips across the island of Bornholm. Nice standard rooms, a very god breakfast, and the staff is friendly, and helpful. Located only 150 m from the nearest beach. Two swimming pools at the hotel. It’s a summer hotel, and open between April and September. Close to Nexø, and the lovely Snogebækk.

Perhaps we were unfortunate to hit a bad day, but service for us was very slow and when our meals did arrive my husband's schnitzel was the same size as the children's portion. When we queried we were told this is correct but that the children's portion was charged at a lower price. We've never really experienced this anywhere before and staff weren't too happy when we queried this. Otherwise, the food was tasty.

The hotel is in a beautiful location in a forest, very close to the beach and plenty of biking trails. The hotel offers bike rental. Very good breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Would definitely recommend!

The personal is beautiful, the room is clean and the bathroom looks newly renovated. the beach is just two minutes from the hotel, and the view is excellent! we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice room, but smallest TV I've ever seen. excellent breakfast. long gone to make a charge. would have been a big mini market in the lobby.
