Pepito's Mexican - Canyon

One of our favorite spots! My daughter and her family now make the drive from Amarillo to visit here almost every week!

The Monterrey chicken was fantastic, and the service was excellent too. If you're a fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, this is the spot for you!

This is the best authentic Mexican food restaurant in Canyon for a small-town setting. I tried the tamale, enchilada, and taco plate, which was a generous portion—I felt very full when we finished. As for parking, there’s a small lot available in front.

The food was so good. The chips were fresh and the salsa was super good. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. The chile relleno was awesome. It wasn't soggy or mushy like the are sometimes. The chicken enchilada with the spicy green sauce was bomb. 100% recommend.

A hidden Gem! We have been to this restaurant many times and every time it does not disappoint! Today we tried their 7 layer dip and it was made to order and absolutely delicious!! My husband had a chicken salad and I had the barbacoa plate and it was the best I’ve had in a long time.
