Írjon visszajelzéstI've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and I will definitely return. The chicken was cooked to perfection—neither greasy nor dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were well-seasoned, and the collard greens were mild yet flavorful. I highly recommend it if you're looking for delicious, home-style fried chicken.
Overall, I would rate the chicken 4.3 out of 5. It was flavorful and served hot, though the breast and thigh seemed to be white meat. The hot sauce had a good kick and enhanced the chicken's flavor, although it resembled a cocktail sauce typically served with seafood. The potato salad was excellent. Don't let the 3.9 rating discourage you. My main concern is the restaurant's hours, as they close at 6 PM, which is quite early.
The service was unusual, and the setup felt a bit off. However, the bathroom was well-maintained. The food was decent but a bit heavy unless you're really hungry. I think I would give it another shot the next time I travel 5,000 miles to the area.
My first visit. Be aware, cash only. Soo annoying. I saw two sets of customers leave before I went in and not come back because of cash only sales.....Business lost! I was even there waiting for 20 minutes. But for once I luckily had a little cash on me. Quaint place. Well decorated. Nice theme for a fried chicken place in my opinion. Limited seating inside. More seating outside. Food was good. Took a star away since lunch meals only came with a bottle of water. Sodas and other drinks extra. For what I paid for just a 2 piece boneless thighs lunch meal chicken and water bottle only $7.15) and a separate order of chicken livers $10.25), I figure a soda or tea should be included. And the water was no fancy brand. Same as you get from the grocery store. Won't stop me from going back. But I know what to expect now. Why not just cut the cost of the meal by a dollar and let folks buy drinks extra if they want one. Because I really didn't want water anyway nor wanted to spend any more money on another drink. Also, be careful when leaving the parking lot and turning left to get to A1A. Its a little awkward between traffic light timing, cars turning and other cars blocking you from getting into the roadway; when there's a lot of cars. Luckily someone was nice enough to pause and let me come out safely.
So good! ? this was our first time coming here, but their chicken sandwich was amazing. The owners were working, and they were incredibly sweet. Definitely would recommend this place.
