Friar Tuck's Restaurant

So sad to see all the negative and rude comments about the owner. I have not genuinely smiled and laughed this much in a long time. The owner is personable, hilarious, genuine and kind. I could have sat and talked with him for hours. We were treated like we’ve been coming to the restaurant for years and if I lived in the area I’m sure that would be the case. If you don’t like in your face personality with sarcastic humor then don’t come here. I can’t wait to travel back here to visit the owner. Oh yeah and the food is delicious!!

I've never been compelled to review a place before. I've had poor service many times but I've never had it served with a side of spousal abuse. The owner is openly, verbally abusive towards his wife in front of customers. It makes the whole atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. The food is passable but be prepared for a fight with the owner should you try and have your food made without corners cut on quantity or proportionality.

It's a quick hole in the wall breakfast spot. Nothing fancy. I had an eggs Benedict and my sister had one of the combos. The hollandaise sauce was a bit off, but it was alright. Servers were quick and nice. Don't expect fancy meals.

Food was delicious. I had the Golden waffles with a side of eggs and Canadian bacon. There was no wait time. Service is good and very attentive. The place is small but cozy. The best part is the Frank Sinatra music playing as ambiance music! I will definitely come back when we're in town!

When all other breakfast restaurants have a line out the door and Tuck’s is half empty you can guess how good it is. Disgusting food!
