Las Quecas - Carpentersville

Did not get what we ordered. Asked for a ground beef burrito with no lettuce. Got shredded beef with lettuce. No one spoke English at all so it was very hard to communicate. Restaurant was very cold.

This is the best Mexican food in the area. Mexico City style quesadillas, and Juarez style burritos. Tons of authentic meat options. I love their ropa vieja and carne asada. Wife is vegetarian and loves their veg options. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

I ordered 2 quesadillas, one with rajas and the other with calabaza. When I bite into the quesadilla with calabaza I notice it was mushy and tasted a little funny so i opened it to find a huge bug in my quesadilla!!! I did receive a refund but was told that sometimes the calabaza carries little bugs and they can't help it.. It was not cooked with the calabaza and appeared healthy and probably just wasn't covered up correctly or something and the bug was able to get into the batch. Anyway this was the second time trying them bc my husband likes their burritos. We had a bad experience but thought we would give it another shot. Nope. Never again! Disgusting!!!!

I've been to many Mexican restaurants and fast food joints but this without a doubt is hands down the best around the area! Highly recommend the steak burrito!! Straight fire

Nice place for lunch. Burro nice and good value. Cheese quesadillas so so. Wish they had a more extensive breakfast selections
