Luke's - Carpentersville

Great place with great food. As a small business in a local community they go above and beyond for their customers, the food is always hot and made to order. Much better than going to a portillos or buona for a beef.

After all the years coming here. I have never tried The Ribeye sandwich.. today it changes what I order from here on out. The Ribeye was 9/10 .

This is an outstanding restaurant and a true gem in the Charlottesville community. The management is excellent, and the staff is always friendly. I find myself spending more money here than I care to admit. It's the best Chicago comfort food you can imagine!

I ordered takeout, and my original order included fries, but they were missing from the bag. When I inquired about it, they realized they had forgotten them. I had to wait for them to cook the fries and ended up getting charged extra, even though I thought the original bill included them.

It's been a while since we visited Luke's, but our recent experience was fantastic! We ordered two Italian beef sandwiches and a gyro, and everything was incredibly tasty. Each sandwich was loaded with a generous amount of meat. We also tried the Greek fries, which were excellent—definitely a must-try if you love feta cheese! Cheers!
