Oyama Sushi Steakhouse - Cedar Rapids

Very well appreciated! Sashimi is EXCELLENT! I have the “Sashimi Regular” record (this picture, if after eating a few pieces oops). Also very expensive.

First time here and this place was great. We did not come for the hibachi grill part but instead ate off the sushi menu. It was all very tasty. The food came out pretty quick and the waitresses were very attentive in checking in on us and keeping our drinks filled up. Definitely will come back to try the hibachi grill side of the restaurant.

Update- Great food, best sushi in town and really good service. I eat here at least once a week. My go to spot. Got my order to go. The Oyama Roll and the Iowa City Roll are absolutely wonderful!

The food was not bad, about average. The grill chef was SO much fun. We had extended family with us that had never been to a teppanyaki restaurant. They loved it. Totally worth it. We will definitely be back.

Best restaurant in Cedar Rapids in my opinion. The vegetable tempura, chicken teriyaki, koni salad, and all of the sushi is amazing. Consistently excellent! Prices have always been and continue to be reasonable, especially for the quality of food. Also love the hot sake and their servers are great.
