Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Chattanooga

My child and I just visited the drive-thru at this location, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience. Not only was the service quick, but the food was also excellent. The young woman working the drive-thru is officially our favorite person ever! We had trouble deciding what to order and kept adding items, which can be frustrating for drive-thru staff. However, she was incredibly patient and laughed along with our confusion. She greeted us warmly and never made us feel rushed or judged, even with my broken door and window. She even complimented my child and wished us both a good night, which truly meant a lot to us. She deserves a raise and some recognition! To the wonderful girl working at the DQ Grill and Chill on Gunbarrel Road on December 28th at 8:00 p.m., you are amazing!

Forget all the other burger places you know. While Dairy Queen is renowned for its Blizzards, their food deserves just as much praise. You really should try one of their delicious burgers along with some cheese curds. I can't get enough of them! And don't forget to finish off your meal with a Blizzard — it's the perfect ending. We spent 45 minutes waiting in the drive-thru with only 4-5 cars ahead of us. When we finally approached the ordering station, we were told they would be with us shortly, but we ended up waiting an additional 10-15 minutes to place our order. During this time, the drive-thru light turned off because they were closing. Eventually, we received our ice cream, but two cars behind us were turned away after waiting over 30 minutes without being served. If you don't have enough staff to manage the drive-thru efficiently, it might be better to close it. We really regret not choosing a different place.

I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are looking for a hostile environment. Today my wife went in to order our hungry daughter a grilled cheese while she waited for them to make an ice cream cake that was ordered days ahead of time but ended up with no completion date. When she walked through the doors an employee was belligerent and losing her mind because she was asked to clean up the dining area. A group of employees were yelling at this irate worker to clock out and leave. Recognizing a hostile environment that could potentially turn violent my wife walked back out to the car. We love their ice cream cakes but not with a side of violence.

When I went their computer was down, but they were very good about it and still took our order. Great food. Great blizzard.
