Molcajete Mexican - Chattanooga

We had a fantastic lunch here today. The fish tacos were delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were great, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for your next Mexican meal!

We had lunch here for the first time today after hearing great recommendations from friends. Right when we entered, we were warmly greeted and shown to a table. The restaurant's design was beautifully done. The service was outstanding, and our food arrived promptly, piping hot. The salsa and chips were exceptional. We definitely plan to return and will recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine.

Outstanding Restaurant. Located in a great location, right by Sportsman's Warehouse. This was some of the best Mexican Food I have ever had since I left Texas, decades ago. The place is immaculate, clean, and the service is second to none. The icing on the cake was the Live Acoustic Music on Thursday nights. I think the guys name was Joel Clyde, and he was fantastic, doing all kinds of music, and creating a very classy atmosphere. New, fresh, friendly, clean tasty. Tucked back in the corner of a strip mall trying to revitalize itself sits Molcajete. The paint is fresh, furniture is new and the dark floor and ceilings disappear against vibrant and energetic walls. It was late in the afternoon, well past the lunch crowd and too early for dinner so we were the only people in the dining room. It was our first visit after passing by several times and I was expecting reheated lunch leftovers like some of the other restaurants in the area. Completely wrong- the food was fresh, seasoned perfectly and the presentation showed pride in what they were doing. The waiter was very attentive and the price was reasonable.<br/ <br/ As a small business owner in the area myself I know how expensive advertising is and how hard it is to get your name out in the community. I sincerely hope that Molcajete maintains their great level of food quality and service in the years to come. I 'll definitely be returning in the near future to try more dishes and suggest that anyone with a 'hankering ' for Mexican food gives them a try. They definitely beat some of the older, more established staples here in Chattanooga.

BEST OF THE BEST. Let's talk about great Mexican food! This restaurant has it all from the great service to the food that will keep you coming back. Starting out with the chips and salsa you know that its going to be a great meal (and I guarantee you that it will be). The atmosphere is so inviting,#1 its clean with excellent health scores. You can tell your experience matters to the staff. You have to try their speciality dishes (try the Molcajete) you will find yourself licking your fingers. I will definitely let everyone know that if they are looking for Mexican food- MOLCAJETE IT IS!!!
