Not really worth the $15 to walk around a room with a few old guitars. Plus a homeless gentleman followed me around until I gave him money. He was a nice guy I just couldn’t enjoy my visit with him following me.
Went for a wedding reception- fascinating collection and amazing venue! Highly recommend for any music enthusiast or history buff. Or, if you just want to go someplace different with a great vibe and guaranteed great music!
What a fun little venue! Recently drove up from Atlanta to take the kids to a concert here. Easy to find parking nearby if you arrive early. This music venue/ museum is standing room only for music events. Be sure to give yourself enough time to walk through all the guitars and history here. Tickets weren't very expensive and it was a great start to their kids summer music series.
Such an awesome experience. Would out on the very top of your list of things to do in Chattanooga! Reviews were mixed so we weren’t really sure what to expect but the museum exceeded our expectations and then some! Beautiful museum-clean, well organized, informative with a lot of interactive exhibits. My 14 year old who’s very into guitars absolutely loved it. He was so intrigued throughout. Said of things we did in Chattanooga (Ruby Falls, Incline Railway, and Rock City) this was by far his favorite. While I’m not as in to music as he is, I also found it interesting and enjoyed the historical knowledge there and learning more about Chattanooga’s history too. Clean, modern space with polite, knowledgeable staff. Lovely bathroom facilities. And can’t beat it for $15! We spent about 3 hours enjoying the museum. I’d recommend allowing at least 2 but honestly, even if you’ve just got an hour it’s worth the visit! Oh, and some other reviews mentioned the vault wasn’t open- it’s open now and it’s super cool!
This is easily my new favorite venue in Chattanooga after moving back! I loved the VIP experience which included a private interview and acoustic set with part of the band, 4 drinks, signed posters, and a better not crowded viewing of the show. This museum is top notch with a great presentation, and overall excellent quality!
