Maverick’s Restobar Lounge

We had reservations and they said they wouldn't eat tonight. Very disappointed.

We came for our reservation 6:30 and the restaurant was closed. We said they had an exhaust problem. No one called us before, because they said that their reservation system was missing. The hostess offered us a glass of wine and offered to call other restaurants nearby. She received no direction through management, but she was professional and tried to help us. It's July 5 now, and we haven't heard of anyone in the restaurant yet, offering us something to come back. Very bad experience.

We had a very odd experience at Maverick's. The restaurant was mostly empty on a Saturday evening, and yet, service was very slow, and our food took a long time to come out. The menu was different from the menu online which would have been okay if it had been an equivalent type of menu. However, what is listed online included normal entree items. What we were offered was small plates, pasta, or sandwiches. No normal entrees at all. The food was good--nothing outstanding, but fine. I would not opt to dine here again.

What a plain boring space inside this beautiful building. It’s cold and stark. Looks like an unfinished space. The staff is in need of training and we waited over 15 minutes to be acknowledged. The flavor of the food was wonderful-especially the filets. But nothing was hot, only warm, so we are guessing the entrees sat for awhile before anyone decided to serve them.

My wife and I went out for a date night and couldn’t have been more pleased with the restaurant. The food was incredible, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back
