Írjon visszajelzéstWe enjoyed a super crispy roll and a delicious crab roll, both of which were excellent. We also tried the chicken hibachi dinner with fried rice and the chicken yakisoba. While both were good, they didn't quite stand out as extraordinary. I would definitely come back to explore more sushi options. The service was outstanding as well.
Update: Is this place out of business? I just went there in normal business hours, and the doors were locked and no one car was in the lot. The hours were posted at the door and no other signs explain why they were closed. Sushi was great! I went about a week or so after they opened so that it wouldn't be too busy. We had the Sashimi Deluxe, the Honeymoon Roll and the Rock Roll. Everything was great. We had a place to dessert, so we decided for the cheesecake tempura. The service was good and the prices were average. Absolutely come back and glad that there is a sushi place in the city....
We managed to secure a table for two on a Friday night at 10:15 AM, and they still accommodated our sushi and noodle order. The service was quick, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. The sushi was fantastic; we tried three different rolls, and all of them were excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is appealing as well. We would definitely return!
The staff at this restaurant is friendly and attentive. The recent remodel features a simplistic Japanese aesthetic, but the excessive colorful LED lighting can be a bit overpowering. I ordered the lobster Rangoon appetizer, which was disappointing as it didn't contain much actual lobster. The sushi rolls were loosely wrapped and tended to fall apart, lacking the tightness they should have. While the quality of the seafood and vegetables was good, the sweet potato roll was undercooked. However, the unagi (eel avocado) roll was quite tasty. I also tried the non-traditional tiramisu, which felt unusual for a sushi place; the portion was small and tasted reminiscent of strawberry Nestlé Quik. Overall, I'm just glad to have sushi options in Clinton that aren't from Hy-Vee.
First visit and will definitely return when back in town to visit in-laws. I had the hibachi steak and chicken which was amazing. Full of flavor and steak was tender and juicy. Im not into the sushi but She had the army, California and Boston roll I believe. She was impressed and happy with the quality and flavors. The prices are comparable to all the other sushi and steak places we have been. The waitress was attentive and helpful with answers to the many questions. Easy to see and access from the road. One thing they could work on is bringing all the meals to the table at the same time. Our meals were brought minutes apart so we did not start our meal together. Our appetizers were also brought minutes apart. All else good. Must try!
