Brett's Waterway Cafe

The service was poor and the menu was expensive. I recommend skipping this place and either driving to Jacksonville for a better dinner or finding another spot on the island.

I took my favorite person to Brett's, and everything was perfect! The view, drinks, meal, dessert, and service were all outstanding!

The mojitos were the best I've ever tasted, and the seafood chowder was amazing!

We had dinner after the 8 Flags Car Show and had a wonderful time. We were seated at a table with a lovely view of Center Street and the marina as the sun was setting. Our waiter was very attentive, and the prime rib and shrimp were cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to dine here again during our next visit to Fernandina Beach.

The place offered a fantastic selection of wines by the glass, and it proudly displayed five years' worth of Wine Spectator awards on the wall. The food was delightful, featuring incredible crab cakes, fried green tomatoes, and fresh salads, accompanied by warm, freshly baked bread. We settled on the veranda in rattan chairs, soaking in the sunset as we were entertained by a pair of pelicans perched nearby. We truly felt fortunate to be there. While the prices were on the higher side, it was not out of the ordinary for the quality and setting. The restaurant was bustling with both tourists and locals, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
