The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the bar! I hope they can reopen soon because we really miss this place! To those leaving one-star reviews just because they're closed, that's a bit unfair!

This restaurant has been a family favorite for many years. My wife visited Fredericksburg last weekend for a quick getaway, and after doing some shopping, we decided to stop by for an early dinner. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the parking lot was empty and filled with construction materials. A sign on the door indicated that the restaurant was closed "indefinitely" due to fire and water damage. We were disappointed, but we definitely plan to return as soon as they reopen.

This was my third visit to this restaurant, and I can see why my parents loved it so much—they used to come here all the time! The inside is clean and cozy, creating a nice atmosphere. The food was outstanding for the price, and our waitress, Debbie, provided excellent service. We'll definitely make it a stop on our next trip to Fredericksburg!

One of the best German inspired restaurants very authentic. It smelled amazing right as we walked in, the staff was very nice and welcoming! We didn?t stay at the hotel we just ate dinner. The service was quick, and everything was cooked perfectly, ifyou are in town definitely try out this restaurant!

Great service, thanks Debbie. Called ahead and they said no wait right now, and upon arrival was seated immediately. Drinks and food were awesome! Loved the schnitzel and rib-eye steak. Beautiful restaurant with a European feel. Casual dress but can dressup. Mood lighting with candles on the table. Would be a great date night or family meal.
