Carlos Mexican Bar Grill - Frisco

The service, atmosphere, and food were all fantastic! A true hidden gem. I will definitely return.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by a total of four staff members. We were promptly seated at our table, where our server brought us water, chips, and salsa—an excellent level of service, particularly for Summit County. Since we had an early reservation, we were able to take advantage of happy hour prices for drinks and appetizers. The margaritas were delicious, and we especially enjoyed the warm chips and unique salsa. We also indulged in table side guacamole, queso, and cheese quesadilla. While some of our entrees were satisfying, such as the chicken enchiladas and fajita burrito, the traditional cheese relleno was a bit lackluster. The steak fajitas were overcooked and lacking accompaniments like pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream. Despite this, we plan on returning to try different menu options in the future.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We were a large group, but they were able to accommodate our reservation. We enjoyed the delicious margaritas, food, and excellent service. We will definitely be returning to this place in the future.

Had dinner here and while it doesn’t look like much from the outside, we were all pleasantly surprised by the food homemade guacamole prepared table side was great and our entrees were all excellent. Can’t beat the value for the huge margaritas. Everyone was very friendly/ Highly recommend!

They aren’t set up to have a group as big as ours. They shouldn’t have let me make a reservation for 16. They were completely unprepared and we had to sit at separate tables. Our food took forever to come out.
