Design Centre Nini Andrade Silva

I rarely write reviews, only when we find something exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. This place was clearly the first. We have had the pleasure of dining at a few michelin star rated restaurants, and in our personal and humble opinion, this was up to the mark. The tunu tataki and fois gras were insanely good, and the red snapper and beef fillet were the best dishes we tasted in a long time. What made the whole evening stand out was the fantastic complemented wine menu. The sommelier was very professional and made perfect choices for every dish. The view over the harbor completed the evening. The only two suggestions for improvement were the cheese plate (good but not that special and the lack of interaction with the kitchen (dining room staff was superb but it is nice to interact with the kitchen staff too . My suggestion to whomever reads this, try it out!! There are many restaurants marked with a high score in funchal which are easier to find on general (touristic routes, but this is a must go. Easy five star rating (Oh and the cocktails kicked ass too!

Rarely i have to write a review in the middle of a dish. Sky kitchen Berlin made it on that short list. But this place, it is out of this world, the quality of the food wine service view... for the money you pay is unmatchable. If you ever get to Funchal and miss the opportunity to eat here, make sure to book your next flight and get a reservation. Absolutely loved it! PS: my girlfriend has a sea food allergy, but when eating here, nutting, might have something to do with the magic of this place

What an amazing place! A hidden jewel in Funchal. The food was amazing (5 stars). If you're looking for something different in the island this is the restaurant to go. Great space with breathtaking views of the town and the Atlantic Ocean. We'll be back next year and I'm sure that more than once!

A great experience! we had the 3-course menu for 55€ including drinks for each cure. the starter and the main course were absolutely great. the cheesecake dessert was somewhat disappointing to me. the location is fantastic stylish and modern, but I expected nothing else from nini andrade silva. service was good and very friendly, but they would have given a bit more information about each cursor.

We had the €60 all-inclusive 3 course meal with wine. The food and wine was delicious with generous servings. We loved the lemon and fennel palate cleanser before dessert! I would give 4.5 stars if possible only because the octopus dish was very dry. It was still cooked well just needed some sauce, so didn’t want to remove a whole star for that when everything else was perfect!
