Riso Risottoria Del Mundo - Funchal

Wonderful location. Good natural wine, fancy place. Waiter were, the entries were not special at all. The risotto was overcooked and not well mantecato, probably they used a low quality parmigiano. The saint Jacques and fillet were both good. Portion were large, but not as much as all around the island

If I could only give one more star, I would! This was the best dining experience we had during the whole holiday in Funchal. The location is superb, music of the ocean in the background, romantic candlelight. Waiting staff attentive, friendly and with exact amount of presence during the meal. Food itself amazing. Size just right, fresh and tasty, excellent wine. Menu looks very interesting and intriguing, you want to try everything! Complementary bun (4 different to choose from) and butter, puffed curry rice, chicken pate and bread sticks. If you plan late evening meal, better book the table. Highly recommended!

Not only is this restaurant a must visit when you're in Funchal, this restaurant is a must try when you're on the island at all. The price and wait times are slightly above average but, with good reason, because the food is incredibly good and unique. They mix ingredients for the food that make the taste unlike anything you've eaten before! To top it all off the view and location are also fantastic!
