Ray's Italian Water Ice And Custard

Since discovering this place three days ago I have been there three times. I think I have a problem, I am beyond addicted to this place. A giant part of me is super happy I actually live a distance away. This is by far the best custard I’ve had since moving to Virginia. The rockets are brilliant. Their large is a lot to tackle for one person. However you will not regret it.

Love this place. Gotta get the Ray's rocket with soft serve ice cream layered into your Italian ice. So yummy. A small is quite a lot so dont get too ambitious when deciding what size to order.

Favorite summertime treats. Hand dipped custard in 15 flavors that are always changing but may include coconut or cinnamon toast. Italian ices in 15 or more flavors including blue raspberry and cotton candy. Soft serve custard. Amazing sundaes with a full variety of toppings candy, fruit, chocolate, carmel, and peanut butter.

We visited for a late-night snack and were really impressed by the selection. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We tried the watermelon ice and the peanut butter passion sundae, both of which were fantastic. The prices were also pleasantly surprising; I've paid more for the same items at other establishments. Great job! I can't wait to return and sample more flavors.

One of the best dessert spots on Broad Street! The Ray’s Colossal Cookie is enormous and absolutely delicious. They offer a wide variety of choices, and everything I tried was tasty. The staff is also quick and professional. I’ll definitely be returning!
