Bright Angel Restaurant, Fountain Bar

We came for lunch after we walked a few hours on the Rim Trail. We sat right away and our waiter was coach. Service was very friendly, and the food was surprisingly good. I had a burger and pommes, expecting it to run from the mill and tasteless. It was pretty good. My wife had a club sandwich she said it was okay. Overall not bad for eating in the park.

Thanks to Shannon's review, we discovered a great spot for lunch. Our waitress, Rosie, was fantastic and offered some helpful suggestions. The soup of the day was delicious, and we shared a veggie quesadilla that came with salsa, avocado, and corn, which was outstanding.

I had the Angus Burger topped with sautéed mushrooms and bacon, accompanied by half fries and onion rings. It was very delicious and budget-friendly. I highly recommend the mushrooms and onion rings, especially if you're visiting with the Grand Canyon crowd!

I wasn't able to secure a reservation at El Tovar and faced a long wait in the Arizona Room, so I decided to try Bright Angel. The service was excellent, and the food came out quickly, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the trout, which was absolutely delicious and very fresh. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the experience.

Had the Chicken Caesar Salad which was good. Service okay.
