Írjon visszajelzéstAfter traveling from Rocky Harbour to Twillingate, we stayed in Grand Falls Windsor for lunch at a restaurant. We were impressed with the excellent service. The food, while typical pub fare, was quite good. However, our gluten-free and vegetarian member had limited options. The turkey soup and clubhouse sandwich were particularly delicious.
We were staying at Grand Falls on our way to Gander and stopped at a pub that didn't have any drinks available for us. We decided to continue driving and came across Wayne's World. It was a hidden gem! Although we were some of the only customers there, we saw someone playing on the slot machine. The bartender was very friendly and we had a great conversation with her about her motorcycle trips to Vancouver Island. The non-alcoholic beer was excellent, as was the orange juice we both had. Thank you for a fantastic pit stop and for being so welcoming and kind to us during our visit from Great Britain.
While in Newfoundland, I heard about Gros Morne National Park from some locals, so I decided to rent a car from St. John's and make the trip. Along the way, I made a pit stop in Grand Falls and stumbled upon a hidden gem of a restaurant. I was greeted by the charming landlord, Dorothy, who made me feel right at home. Despite the bar not being too busy, I was there for the food and was pleasantly surprised by the HUGE burrito with roasted rice that I ordered. It was so filling that I was able to enjoy it for two meals - one half on the spot, and the other half for my hike in Gros Morne. If you find yourself driving from St. John's to Gros Morne, I highly recommend stopping by this place for some local charm and generous portions. I'm grateful I stumbled upon this spot. Thank you, Dorothy and Grand Falls Windsor!
Enjoy our fish and chips at noon! The food was fresh and delicious. Service was very good and, although it is an older spot, it was very clean and well ordered. We ate in the restaurant. Conveniently located: We left our car at the dealer and went to Waynes about 15 minutes.
A co-worker and I stopped by at supper time for a meal. We both had the burrito with fries/rice and a few beer. The pub had what seemed like 2 or 3 patrons and we were the only ones ordering food. The meal and beers...were a good ending to the day
