Lit Charcoal Shawarma - Haledon

Simply delicious!! I'v been looking for a place like this one for the longest time. This is probably the only authentic Shawarma restaurant in New Jersey. It tastes exactly like the Shawarma restaurants back home. Will definitely come back for more..

21 years in USA , never had shawarma and cocktail sooo good tike this in Lit Charcoal, worth driving all the way from Boston Ma to this place .

Food was good but for a restaurant that allows people to dine in, they don't have water even though all restaurants are required to have it. The place is very dirty with sticky tables and chairs, food on the ground and unclean barstools. The customer service is terrible--they aren't around the cashier many times and I have waited 5+ minutes before I could get someone's attention. I will report their lack of cleanliness to the health inspector.

The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was very clean and well-organized.

I placed an online order and was disappointed to find out they had run out of beef and hummus. Instead of calling to resolve the issue, they simply included a note in the bag. I definitely won't be ordering from this restaurant again. The food that did arrive was cold and soggy. Absolutely terrible experience!
