I hate to say it, but I was mistaken. I’ve always considered myself a Southern Hot Dog Snob, believing that a proper hot dog only needs mustard and onions. The only exception I made was for Varsity. However, after trying a chili slaw dog and onion rings there, I can confidently say they are a true blessing for your taste buds. A friend of mine was raving about the hot dogs in Chicago, and I couldn’t help but wonder how a hot dog loaded with so many toppings could possibly taste good. I thought it would overshadow the flavor of the meat. I was completely wrong! Yes, I’ll admit it, I was wrong. We decided to stop by Jimmy's to meet up with our friend and try an authentic Chicago dog. I was very impressed with both the dog and Mr. Jimmy himself—both are genuinely Chicago. My recommendation? Swing by Jimmy's, grab some dogs, and enjoy a nice chat. Mr. Jimmy can also point you toward some amazing waterfall hikes and other activities in the Helen area.

Large dogs and southern dogs (with chili, sharp cheddar and Slav). Amazing Ghirardeli Brownies. Service is fast and friendly. Great price too.
