Ihop - Hixson

The food was enjoyable and the service was generally good. However, we experienced a delay when it came time to pay for our meal, as our waitress seemed to overlook us when she passed by.

Our server was fantastic. The food was average. However, I was really impressed by the young man named Angel, who was hosting and clearing tables. He was very polite and thorough in his cleaning. He wiped down the tables carefully, cleaned underneath everything, attended to the edges of the tables and seats, and I even noticed him sanitizing the menus. Great job!

The food is excellent, but the chef needs to improve on cooking bacon. During my last two visits, the bacon was either too chewy or overcooked to the point of being nearly charred. We had the same hostess on both occasions, but once we were seated and placed our order, we didn’t see her again throughout our meals. It wasn’t as if the restaurant was busy—there were only about five other tables occupied. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Excellent service Megan was very nice and on things. The food was great. The hostess said the food would be about 45 minutes for lack of help, but it was in less time and hot. Great!
