Stampens Kvarn - Hjo

Delicious home made food. Traditional Swedish husmanskost with a twist. If you get a chance go there on Sundays and try their brunch. It is absolutely fantastic. They also have outdoor seating next to a small pond. Very beautiful. They also have a nice rustic barn that is perfect for weddings and similar festivities.

Best lunch in Hjo. Ask anybody. Excellent food prepared from local ingredients. They really go the extra mile in the kitchen to prepare the weekday lunch buffet. Far better than Skaraborg average with one meat dish and one fish. Fun atmosphere although it can get crowded around lunch 11.00 to 13.00. Book a table if your party is 4 or more. Don't miss a walk around the mill. Beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed the salad bar there very much. The food was tasty, and it was not overpriced. We payed about 90 Swedish krona each.

Umbelably good food and Atmosphere. Restaurant in an old mill by the river. Total relaxing place, stater å long time om the lawn after så ring.
