Matsu - Kahului

The taste of their Japanese food is very traditional. it reminds me of the food I eat many years ago in japan. my recommendation is shoyu ramen and katsudon. do not expect modern kotteri tastesramen, but their shoyu ramen is really good.

Great local Japanese food on Maui... this is where the locals go. The owners are so sweet and accommodating! They have a few vegetarian options... If you let the owners know you're vegetarian they can help you decide on an entree. Their hours are a bit unconventional... if you take a cell camera shot of their hours... You'll have it with you for reference. Even though the decor ambiance isn't the finest... It's not meant to be... It's simple, maintained, and functional. Great place for comfort food! A must try! Best Fried Chicken on Maui! Japanese Kaarange Chicken Fried Saba is Ono! Lots of their food is sooo oishi! The service is always right on and they are very nice and polite. In all the years I’ve been coming here I have no complaints. My food always been sooo good and my orders were never wrong. Must check them out! One of the best Japanese/Local Cuisine on Maui!
