Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Kalamazoo

Oh, my! I'm from the south and was just a little more than a year in kazoo. this is now in my top 5 food joints. the braut is amazing! the baked potato weighs like 3 pounds. that must be for this.

Eating was amazing! we had their catering services before and they never disappointed!

Chili small, watery, and fat chunks instead of meat. Toast inedible. Meat lacking in flavor and on the smaller side. The regular BBQ sauce was very watery and too sweet. I can only imagine the sweet version being corn syrup right out of the bottle with food coloring.It's hard to screw up BBQ, so I can't honestly say it was terrible, but I can easily rank it at the very bottom of my list.

PIGGY GOT ME!!!! The BBQ was very yummy. Very fun place to go and eat. Only thing I did not care for where the sides. Will go again and just eat MEAT! Yummy place

Dickey got rid of her waffelfries and now has cuts. they are terrible. I don't know what they are, but they taste burned. for me it tasted as if they use the left over fat from the flesh to use in their frit. I hope they're bringing the waffelfries back because I can't see myself going back now. both my son and I have tipped our whole order of pommes into the mud, they were not worth going home and I don't believe in wasting food. they were so bad.
